Facilitators

The people holding this work.

This training is held by a small team of facilitators, grounded in Voice Dialogue as a relational and embodied practice.

We each bring our own way of working, while holding a shared foundation in the method and its lineage.

How we work together

We hold the training within a shared team container, with clear agreements, a steady learning culture, and teaching that is practical and grounded.

Across the weekends, we offer demonstrations and feedback that support real skill development, while staying attentive to pace, consent, and nervous system capacity.

The wider rhythm of the group is also part of the work, supporting trust, continuity, and learning over time.

Christie Animas’ work is centred on the exploration and expression of the different parts of our inner world, with a particular focus on how these can be experienced, embodied, and shared in relationship.

Originally trained as an occupational therapist with a specialisation in child psychiatry, she later moved into more experiential and creative approaches, training in Voice Dialogue, the Fooling practice with Franki Anderson, and Body Informed Leadership. These influences come together in her way of working, which bridges psychological understanding with expression, play, and relational process.

Christie is the creator of Fool Expression, an ongoing body of work that brings together elements of Voice Dialogue, theatre, improvisation, and group process. Through this, she has developed a way of working that supports people to give form to what lives inside them — emotions, impulses, contradictions — and to explore these in a shared space.

Her work is particularly oriented towards group settings, where the “Inner Village” can be witnessed, expressed, and integrated in connection with others. Alongside this, she works one-to-one with individuals using the Voice Dialogue process.

She is interested in how inner experience can be lived more fully, and how this contributes to a deeper sense of belonging, creativity, and connection.

Rebekah’s work is rooted in years of training in psycho-spiritual energy perception, body–mind psychotherapy, and transpersonal psychology.

In the 1990’s Rebekah trained with Jungian therapists, Liz Greene and Howard Sasportas at the Centre for Psychological Astrology in London. She followed this with six years of training at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing, USA, involving the study of the body-mind psychotherapy of Wilhelm Reich. Here she developed her ability to perceive the Human Energy Field including its relationship with the mind and the body.

Rebekah followed this with training in Voice Dialogue, where she found a natural integration point, bringing together energetic perception, psychological understanding and contact with the wisdom of the body.

Rebekah is the author of ‘Charting the Soul: Astrology, Characterology and the Human Energy Field’. The book is an exploration of the overlapping connections between astrology, psychology, and the human energy field.

Rebekah is also an artist and a major theme in her book is a description of the multidimensional creative process which lies at the heart of human experience.

Rebekah has over 20 years’ experience running her own practice giving individual sessions in Voice Dialogue, energy healing and astrological chart readings. Rebekah teaches astrology, regularly gives talks and leads her own Charting the Soul workshops.

Lia is a mother, lover, sister, daughter and animist. She works devotionally and alchemically to support herself and others to come back into Right Relation to Life, decolonising our ways of being to support us through this Great Turning.

Lia’s work is rooted in relational elemental practice with a strong emphasis on intimacy, embodiment, and the lived experience of connection.

Her path includes over a decade of training and facilitation in Voice Dialogue and transformational psychology, alongside body touch and movement based approaches that support a deeper connection to sensation, feeling, and presence. She is particularly interested in how we meet ourselves and each other in real time — how patterns of protection, desire, vulnerability, and openness unfold in relationship and how the elements can support us to bring ourselves back into balance..

Her work includes an openness to the exploration of sensuality and erotic energy as part of the full spectrum of being human. This work is approached with care, awareness, and most importantly embodied consent, guiding and supporting clients to deeply ally with the body, connecting with power and vulnerability in intimacy with erotic energy to create pathways of deep somatic healing. She is passionate about supporting the ownership and integration of Deep Receptivity as a decolonising pathway. She creates spaces where these aspects can be acknowledged and explored without judgement, alongside all the other varied aspects of self.

Lia’s approach is both grounded and exploratory, supporting people to come into a more direct and embodied relationship with their experience, and to discover new ways of being in connection with themselves and others in service to Life.

She works with including but not exclusively with touch and bodywork alongside talking modalities

NB: in order to maintain the boundaries necessary for this Voice Dialogue training Lia does not include her offering of touch to any participants of Voice Dialogue Living Awareness. Any client who has worked with her involving touch requires to experience a period of a year without receiving touch from Lia in sessions as necessary for their acceptance on this training.
